The Embedded Systems Test Engineer will be involved in the testing embedded systems.The scope includes but is not necessarily limited to testing of demo boards, evaluation platforms for embedded systems, DSP systems and other similar applications. He will also be involved in test automation, and test case development. Work closely with developers towards the bug resolution process.

• Must have minimum one year internship experience at MDN or employment at another competitive organization / industry
• Study design docs, interface with team and development members to clarify design changes and suggest design changes, if any.
• Prepare test plans based on design and maintain the document with modifications based on design changes
• Execute to test plan and test schedule, file bugs and ensure completeness of coverage. Report all issues in timely manner.
• Knowledge of C/perl/python/tcl is required
• Exposure to version control(CVS/SVN), makefiles is desirable
• Experience of testing 8/16/32 bit micro controller, microprocessor or DSP based designs is desirable
• Exposure to integrated development environment (IDE) concepts is desirable
• Basic understanding of video surveillance systems is an added advantage
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and business audiences
